Successfully Completed Forest Planting Campaign

On October 20, 2024, the SURIA Foundation successfully carried out a campaign to plant a new forest with the help of 57 volunteers, including about 10 enthusiastic and energetic children. The event took place on a 4-decare area, where 1,100 saplings were planted.

The weather was beautiful, and the efforts of all participants were invaluable in creating a greener and more sustainable environment. Our gratitude goes out to all the volunteers and the Sofia Municipality, Iskar District, for their initiative “The New Forest of Sofia,” as well as to the Municipal Land and Forest Management Office and our partners at Save Soil for their assistance and positive collaboration.

By planting these trees, the SURIA Foundation continues its mission to improve the ecological state of the country and inspire society to take action for the benefit of nature.
