We continue reforesting with a vision for a greener Sofia!
On November 19, 2024, we held our second tree-planting event in the Abdovitsa neighborhood – part of the “Sofia’s New Forest” initiative by Sofia Municipality. This event builds on our major reforestation campaign held on October 20, where together we planted a total of approximately 2,000 beech saplings across the two campaigns.
This initiative would not have been possible without the support of our friends at Health 4 Wealth, who joined us with volunteers and helped successfully complete the task. A huge “Thank you” also goes to the Iskar District of Sofia Municipality, who continue to be a reliable partner in these ecological missions.
What did we achieve?
With the help of professional foresters and volunteers, we planted more trees on plots provided by the municipality, transforming abandoned agricultural land into green and beautiful spaces. These saplings will not only symbolize our commitment to nature but also represent a tangible contribution to creating a greener and more sustainable living environment.
Why is this important?
Every tree planted is a step towards restoring the natural balance in the urban environment. Reforestation contributes to cleaner air, improved biodiversity, and the creation of new green spaces that will be enjoyed for generations to come.
