“Christmas Gifts for Dignity” 2025: Warmth, Care, and Personal Attention for People in Need
In December 2025, Surya Foundation carried out the charitable campaign “Christmas Gifts for Dignity” — an initiative that placed personal attention and human care at the heart of Christmas giving.
The campaign gave everyone the opportunity to make a concrete and personal gesture by providing a warm winter set — a scarf, a hat, and gloves — for a child or an adult in need. This approach turned each donation into a conscious act of involvement and a reminder that there is a real person on the receiving end who has not been forgotten.
As part of the initiative, warm winter sets and additional gifts were provided to:
- 20 children and adults accommodated at the Crisis Center for Individuals in Veliko Tarnovo and the Crisis Center for Children — victims of trafficking or violence in the village of Balvan.
- 30 adults with severe mobility impairments living at the Home for People with Physical Disabilities in the village of Slivek, Lovech Municipality.
Donors contributed in various ways — by purchasing a personal gift, making a financial donation, sharing the campaign, or organizing small initiatives within their teams and communities. Each gesture helped ensure that more people received not only winter essentials, but also a sign of care and respect.
“Christmas Gifts for Dignity 2025” showed that sometimes the most important thing is not the value of the gift, but the message it carries. The personal gift became a symbol of humanity, support, and hope.
Surya Foundation extends its heartfelt thanks to all donors and supporters who made this campaign possible and helped make Christmas 2025 warmer, more meaningful, and truly shared.
