The Surya Foundation, in partnership with Lovech Municipality, is launching a charity campaign to build a physiotherapy room at the Home for Adults with Physical Disabilities in Slivek Village.
The home accommodates 40 residents—23 men and 17 women—who live with physical disabilities resulting from limb amputations, cerebral palsy, strokes, and heart attacks.
Unfortunately, at present, the residents do not have access to specialized rehabilitation, as the building housing the social service was originally designed as a recreational facility and lacks a suitable physiotherapy room. That’s why our goal is to convert a designated drying room into a fully equipped rehabilitation space that will significantly improve the quality of life for the people living in the home.
How Will We Help?
The Surya Foundation will furnish the physiotherapy room with specialized equipment to provide therapy and rehabilitation opportunities for the residents:

Roche cage
Limb mobility device
Hand and finger mobility device
Training sticks
Spiked massage balls
Magnetic therapy device
Ultrasound therapy device
Electrostimulation therapy device for pain relief
