What we achieved?
The “Christmas in a Box for Children and Young People Without Parental Care 2025” campaign provided personal Christmas gifts to over 150 children and young people across 13 social services in 7 locations, with additional support for essential needs.
How the campaign unfolded?
The initiative was delivered in two phases with the Bulgarian Yoga Association — personal gifts followed by support for shared needs, including in-person visits and gift distribution.

This year again, you can become a real Christmas elf. Anyone who wishes can bring true joy to one of the many children, young people, and adults deprived of parental care by personally fulfilling the wishes from their letters to Santa Claus.
How You Can Take Part
Make a gift - choose as many gifts as you wish from the wish lists of the children and young people. Prepare each gift with care and label it clearly with the child’s name, age, social service center, and town/village. You can also include a card with a personal message inside.
Send the gift to our office at your own shipping cost or deliver it in person during office hours at the “Surya” Foundation, Sofia, 88 Knyaz Aleksandar Dondukov Blvd., 8th floor, by December 15.
Make a donation funds will be used to buy gifts for children who haven’t received one, as well as to provide shared necessities such as food, equipment, hygiene materials, bedding, and more.
Share the campaign tell others about it so it can reach more people and help goodness multiply.

When a child opens a box prepared with genuine thought by someone they’ve never met, they feel more than joy – they feel seen. They feel remembered.
This is the true magic of our campaign—human, real, and heartfelt.
Christmas is approaching. Homes, streets, and hearts are filling with anticipation. For us at the “Suriya” Foundation, this is also the moment each year when we are reminded of the incredible power of shared humanity. Together with the Bulgarian Yoga Association, we continue the tradition of their largest “workshop of kindness,” known as “Christmas in a Box,” which over the years has grown into a cause uniting hundreds of people.
The gift you give is not just an object. It is a sign of care, belonging, and warmth. One box – one Christmas – filled with love.
