What we achieved?
In 2025, the “Christmas Light for Children’s Smiles” campaign provided backpacks and school supplies to 157 children aged 6 to 14 from the Center for Personal Development Support “Masha Belmustakova” in the village of Borovan. The initiative delivered not only material support, but also personal attention, confidence, and shared Christmas joy experienced together with the children.
How the campaign unfolded?
The campaign was made possible with the support of individual donors and concluded with a personal visit to Borovan during the Christmas holidays. The meeting with the children, filled with songs, dances, and recitations, became an emotional and memorable moment of the initiative.

The holidays always carry that quiet feeling of closeness and togetherness that reminds us we are part of a community. With Christmas Light for Children’s Smiles 2025, we have the chance to bring this warmth into the homes and hearts of children from families with limited means. A little attention from us can become a great joy for them.
What We Achieve
This year, we continue to support the 160 students from grades 1 to 8 of the “Masha Belmustakova” Center for Personal Development Support in the village of Borovan. Our goal is for every child to begin the new school year with confidence and the materials they need. We provide backpacks, notebooks, pens, pencils, drawing pads, pencil cases, and everything else that helps them learn calmly and with motivation.
Why It Matters
For a child, a new backpack is more than just an item. It is a sign that someone is thinking about them. That their effort matters. That they too deserve to move forward with their head held high. This small gesture offers not just convenience, but confidence and a sense of belonging. This is where the true value of giving lies— in the feeling that you’ve helped someone believe in themselves.
