After the festive days, it’s time for a quiet but meaningful kind of care – care for nature. On September 29, the “Surya” Foundation, with the support of the Kremikovtsi District and Mayor Liliya Donkova, is organizing a volunteer cleanup of the environment around Kremikovtsi Monastery.

Materials provided:
Work gloves and sacks for all volunteers from the mayor of Kremikovtsi district Lilia Donkova.
All volunteers will receive work gloves and garbage bags, provided by the district administration.

Start time: 10:00
It’s best to wear long pants, as the grassy areas are not fully maintained. We also recommend bringing a hat, sunscreen, insect repellent (to keep ticks away), and water to stay comfortable.
The area around the monastery is known for its stunning natural views, the presence of deer and peacocks, and the sense of silence and grandeur the place conveys. The monastery itself has been fully renovated, and the surrounding area deserves the same care and attention.
This action will take place in the days after the major national holidays, when nature is often left with more traces than it deserves. Together, we can erase them.
