Here’s how this campaign ended
What did we achieve?
The Surya Foundation’s campaign for clothing and toy donations was successful, with donations delivered to three crisis centers in Bulgaria. In the centers in the village of Balvan and Veliko Tarnovo, we provided the necessary clothes and toys for children and adults in need, offering them comfort and hope during difficult times.
How did the campaign unfold?
With the help of friends and acquaintances, new or gently used clothes, shoes, accessories, and toys for children and adults from the crisis centers were collected. After careful sorting and packaging by age, gender, and season, the donations were distributed according to the needs of each of the three crisis centers.

We at the Surya Foundation join the initiative of our volunteer Nadine Hasan – the first to register on the Surya website – to collect clothes and children’s toys for crisis centers in Bulgaria. Special thanks to Nadine, who organized the campaign among her friends and acquaintances once again. This time, she invited us from the Foundation to actively participate in collecting, sorting, and distributing the donations to several crisis centers we work with.

What’s next?
Through a community of well-meaning friends and acquaintances, new or well-preserved clothes, shoes, and accessories for children and adults of all ages and genders will be collected. Toys for the children in the crisis centers will also be gathered. The collected clothes and toys will be reviewed, sorted, and packaged by age, gender, and season, and distributed according to the needs of each of the three crisis centers.
Why is this important?
When we donate clothes and toys, we not only help those in need, but we also give a second chance to these items while protecting the environment. Every pair of clothes or toy donated brings joy and light to someone’s difficult day.
