How this campaign ended
What we achieved?
In 2025, the “Every Child Deserves Christmas” campaign provided personal Christmas gifts to 99 children aged 0 to 18 from the village of Cherni Vrah, Montana Municipality. Each child received an individually selected gift, and the initiative delivered a genuine Christmas experience while marking the beginning of a new partnership in the village.
How the campaign unfolded?
The campaign was made possible with the support of individual donors and corporate partners and concluded with the first-ever Christmas celebration for the children of Cherni Vrah. With the help of volunteers, a festive program and a visit from Santa Claus were organized, and the gift-giving became the most emotional moment of the celebration.

This year, the Surya Foundation is joining the first-ever Christmas celebration for the children and young people of the village of Cherni Vrah, Montana Municipality — a village in a region with high unemployment, where many families live in severe deprivation.
Among them are 99 children aged 0 to 18, for whom the holidays often pass quietly and unnoticed. Most of them have never received a Christmas gift. This year, a group of volunteers is preparing, for the first time in the village, festive decorations, a holiday program, and a meeting with Santa Claus — a bit of magic these children will remember for a lifetime.
At the Suria Foundation, we are joining this initiative with one clear goal:
every one of the 99 children should receive their own personal, carefully chosen Christmas gift.
Because Christmas is a celebration of hope. And every child deserves their own.
