The Planting Seasonβs Final Chance
The planting season is coming to an end, but we at SURIA Foundation, with the support of our friends at Health 4 Wealth, are determined to make the most of this last opportunity of the year.
We invite you to take part in the Second Great Planting in the Abdovitsa neighborhood, Busmantsi village. Even in the midst of a busy workweek, together we can achieve something meaningful for nature and our city.
The next few days are the final suitable window for planting trees before the ground starts to freeze. Large areas planned for planting remain unplanted due to a shortage of volunteers. This is an urgent chance to plant as many trees as possible and end the season with a significant accomplishment.
A Green Future for Sofia
This initiative is part of Sofia Municipalityβs campaign βThe New Forest of Sofiaβ, which aims to turn unused agricultural land into green zones. Every tree planted is an important step toward a more beautiful and sustainable living environment.
What to Expect?
We will plant beech trees on pre-prepared terrain with the help of professional foresters. All materials, including tools, will be provided. No special preparation is needed β just wear comfortable clothing and bring your enthusiasm to help!
In addition to planting, youβll enjoy fresh air, meet new people, and become part of a community dedicated to creating a greener Sofia.
