What we achieved
- Collected tires, clothes, and cigarette butts.
- Raised awareness about recycling and cigarette butt pollution.
- Received a 600 BGN donation from Seaway Logistics for eco-initiatives.
How the campaign unfolded
Around 30 volunteers enthusiastically cleaned the area under the Brussels Blvd. bridge, the children’s playground, and the parking lot of Block 20 in Druzhba. Thanks to their efforts, the space became cleaner and more welcoming. A receipt for the purchases made is attached.

Let’s unite our efforts and do something meaningful for our city! On September 20, we invite you to join us in cleaning under the bridge on Brussels Boulevard. This event is organized by our Surya Foundation in partnership with the Sofia Municipality, Iskar District, who are actively supporting our efforts to create a cleaner and more organized urban environment.
This bridge is not just part of our city’s infrastructure; it symbolizes the connection between people and the spaces we live in. That’s why it deserves to be a clean and welcoming place, reflecting our care and respect for the city.
Why Is This Important?
Cleaning public spaces is not just about caring for the environment—it’s about caring for ourselves and the cleanliness and beauty of the place we call home. With your participation, we can transform the Brussels Boulevard Bridge into a space that reflects our commitment to nature and urban well-being. Start: 9:00 AM | End: 3:00 PM
Meeting Point: Parking area in front of Block 20, Druzhba neighborhood.
How to Join?
All you need to do is show up on the specified day and time at the meeting point. We look forward to seeing you and working together to create a cleaner and more beautiful city!
