Letβs Plant a Park!
This campaign is part of our initiative to plant parks and a continuation of our November 9th event, where we successfully planted 45 trees.
Our goal this time is to plant the remaining 15 trees (chestnut, maple, and catalpa) in the green space between buildings in Hadzhi Dimitar neighborhood, block 87, Nikola Voinovski Street 63-59, behind Entrance E.

The Challenge
Weβre surrounded by more and more buildings and fewer green spaces. Did you know that Sofia Municipality has an initiative called βForest in the Cityβ? This program aims to plant urban parks or small forests with native tree species in suitable locations.
We, the SURIA Foundation, proudly support this meaningful cause as part of our core ecological mission.
Come join us to create more green, fresh, and clean patches of nature in the heart of the city. Perhaps one day, the city will exist within the forest rather than the forest within the city.

Campaign Expenses
Purchasing and packaging 60 saplings β 1,900 BGN
Transporting the saplings β 450 BGN
Hiring a water truck for initial watering β 500 BGN
Purchasing gardening tools and gloves β 300 BGN

What to Bring?
Just wear comfortable clothes and shoes, bring water, and any personal items you might need. Everything else will be provided on-site.
