After planting saplings, our mission is far from over – it’s just beginning. That’s why we invite you to join the “Care for the Forest” campaign, focused on nurturing the already planted trees around Aleko Hut on Vitosha Mountain.
With collective effort and consistent care, we can give young trees the chance to grow strong and healthy – and become part of the future.
Please bring the following:
- Suitable clothing for working outdoors (including hats)
- Hiking shoes or footwear appropriate for walking
- Drinking water and food
- Personal belongings
The campaign is also suitable for children, as the walk is short and easy. We encourage volunteers who wish to do so to bring their kids along and take part in this important environmental initiative — let’s set an example together!
Please keep in mind that the weather may be hot. If you’ll have little ones with you, make sure to plan accordingly — bring sun protection, enough water, and take breaks when needed.
