Volunteer Action: Hoeing Saplings near Dolni Pasarel Village
After other volunteers planted saplings on 2 decares of land near Dolni Pasarel village this spring, it’s now our turn at the SURIYA Foundation to take care of their growth. We know that good results come with consistent care and lots of love. And we can give both.

Why does it matter?
Hoeing is an essential part of caring for each sapling – it improves soil aeration, helps retain moisture, and protects young trees from weeds that could smother them.
Young trees are especially vulnerable in the first years after planting. Small actions today – such as hoeing and maintaining the soil – give them the chance to grow into a strong, resilient forest tomorrow. This is an investment in cleaner air, a healthier environment, and a greener future for all of us and for our children.
What to expect?
In just three hours, volunteers will work together in nature, enjoy the fresh air, and experience the power of community built on care and persistence.
Join us on October 18 in Dolni Pasarel village. Everyone is welcome – no expertise is needed, only willingness, a smile, and readiness to help.
