On September 17, we’ll once again be in Sofia’s New Forest to continue our mission – not just to plant saplings, but to help them grow.

The saplings planted in previous seasons need regular care in order to thrive. That’s why we are organizing a volunteer action for weeding and hoeing – to remove the grass and support the healthy rooting of the young trees.
Meeting point: the bus stop at the bridge over the Iskar River in the Abdovitsa neighborhood
Time: 10:00 – 12:00
It’s best to wear long pants, as the grassy areas are not fully maintained. We also recommend bringing a hat, sunscreen, insect repellent (to keep ticks away), and water to stay comfortable.
