We are launching a campaign to improve daily life for the young people and adults at the “Sveta Marina” day centre in Sofia — a home for people over 18 with intellectual disabilities. Our goal is to make their days calmer and more comfortable by providing air conditioners to ease the strain of climate change and extreme temperatures.
What do we plan to achieve? With your support we aim to buy and donate 3 air conditioners for the centre — a better environment, comfort and decent living conditions for its residents.
Why does it matter? As the climate grows more extreme, the comfort and health of people with intellectual disabilities matter more, not less. This isn't only a gesture of solidarity but a real contribution to their quality of life.
